I celebrated my womanhood by sitting around with seven other ladies, drinking wine and eating chocolate cake {this recipe is SO GOOD, PEOPLE!} and talking about everything from lotus births {there are several nurses in the group}, to KONY 2012, to periods, to how awesome the F-word is {that was after the wine kicked in, I guess}. There was also a full moon and northern lights. You know what? Being a lady is a-ok!
Chocolate, wine and girlfriends. It doesn’t get much better than that!
